An IT company based in Durban is looking for candidate to join their Technical Internship. This is a 12 month programme. The candidate will be exposed to various work which will include:
- Support the networking infrastructure
- Support the automation hardware and related infrastructure
- Advise on and propose new hardware systems and procedures
- Ensure that the systems are operational and perform site visits to clients to verify for SLA
- Provide a stable operating environment
- Evaluation of new hardware and software to improve services offered
- Ensure user requirements are met at all times
- Ensure computer technology is highly suited to meet requirements of the business
- Install, customise and maintain hardware and software, including communication equipment within established standards and guidelines
- Provide general support when required
- Manage the installation and support of both hardware and software
Requirements
-Matric with maths and physical science
-Excellent Academic Records
- Degree / Diploma in Information Technology
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
-A results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment
